Add a striking, graphic statement to your walls or styling surface with this large vintage octagonal centerpiece platter. Crafted in a detailed "basket-illusion" style popular in late-century studio folk art, this piece features an intricate, hand-assembled mosaic inlay pattern made from precisely arranged natural wood veneers and organic textures. The contrasting radial starburst pattern mimics the meticulous stitching of woven tribal coiled baskets. The entire front surface is sealed with a smooth, high-gloss clear protective lacquer coat, creating a perfectly flat, glass-like finish that beautifully catches the light. The back features a clean, matte black finish complete with a built-in keyhole slot for easy, flush wall mounting.
