Teak desk with a floating three-drawer chest and square legs. Scandinavian production, 1960s.
Light proportions and a rigorous structure define this teak desk, an expression of the essential Scandinavian design language of the 1960s. The rectangular top is supported by a linear structure with square legs, while the floating three-drawer chest concentrates storage on one side, leaving much of the space underneath free and accentuating the visual lightness of the overall design. The drawers can be moved left and right. The recessed handles, carved directly into the fronts, discreetly integrate into the surfaces, reinforcing the continuity of the lines and the clean lines of the overall design.
Good condition. May show signs of wear. Please refer to the photographs carefully.
