Casorati'' on the lower margin, Edition 22 of 100 prints. Beautiful artwork representing one of Casorati's favorite themes, that is human bodies and nudes. From the portfolio Dieci Litografie (Numerus, Mensura, Pondus) published in 1946 by La Collezione del Bibliografo, Turin. Nude was one of the classic academic themes and a constant in Casorati's artworks. The attention to the human body, very often in its nakedness, represents one of the most analyzed motifs by the Italian artist throughout his creative life. ''The nude of a woman becomes an almost obsessive and repeated presence within her work; it is the symbol of a rational search.
