A Lladro Little Duck – Quacking porcelain figurine, model #4551, designed by Fulgencio García and produced in Spain. Introduced in 1969 and retired in 1991, the composition depicts a duck in an animated horizontal pose, its elongated neck extended forward and bill open in mid-call.
This example is the documented matte version of model #4551, distinguished from the high-gloss variant also produced by Lladro. The restrained matte surface complements García's simplified modelling, with softly articulated plumage, an extended neck and the characteristic pale tonal palette associated with Lladro's animal sculpture of the period.
