Cast in solid metal with substantial weight and crisp detail — twisted rope forms the upper and lower rims, joined by four hanging tassels with finely modeled fringe. The open ring base seats the glass insert, which lifts out for cleaning or replacement.

The gilding has a warm antique finish with light natural wear that catches the light beautifully. Handsome lit or unlit.
