Rare mid-century Swedish pottery dinner plates by Gabriel Keramik, set of 8. Light blue ground with darker blue stripe and dark brown textured edge. In beautiful condition for a fan of Scandinavian design and 1950s pottery.
Gabriel Keramik was founded in 1925 by graphic designer and artist Gabriel Burmeister in Timmernabben, Sweden and is still producing today, albeit now focusing on traditional Swedish tiled stoves. They are well known for their mid-century art pottery spanning from decorative vases to dinnerware and is very collectible.
