A wonderful pair of mated 19th century patinated Bronze relief Tazzas mounted on marble bases after the Pompeiian Antiquities. The reliefs are wonderful and quite well cast and finished. The first is mounted on rouge marble base and features a liner. There is a chip few chips the rim of the marble bases on this one. The second is slightly smaller and darker. It is missing a liner. A bit darker patination.
Both are quite excellent quality neoclassical grand tour souvenirs.
