The label … Read more We were fortunate to acquire this rare 1964 Eames chair and Ottoman in black leather and Rosewood veneer. The label dates them to a specific year as the double ring round Herman Miller label was only used in 1964. A copy of the original purchase receipt from 1965 is included. The chair and ottoman cost $600 in 1965. The chair is in relatively good condition as it was taken care of. The leather has some cracks and wear in spots, worst of which we’ve pictured. The ottoman had one of its buttons slip through which we had repaired. There are some nicks to some wood edges and minor scuffing and marks to the metal bottoms. See less
