Exposed plugged joinery runs down each post and the arm to leg joinery is visible. The oak shows genuine character: ray fleck across the arm rails and dramatic dark mineral streaking through the sled sides.

Retaining their original upholstery in a chunky oatmeal weave — a substantial, nubby cloth with a subtle chevron running through the lattice, flecked with darker slubs spun into the yarn. The back panel floats free of the frame, a considered detail that gives the chairs a lighter profile than their weight suggests. Sound, tight, and comfortable.
