A refined pair of French Louis XVI style side tables featuring ebonized wood, gilt-brass accents and beautifully veined white marble tops.
Each table is fitted with two drawers outlined in brass molding and centered by petite brass pulls. Fluted corner pilasters transition into slender tapered legs with brass sabots, creating an elegant vertical silhouette. The pale marble provides a crisp contrast to the deep black finish of the cases.
Classic in vocabulary yet remarkably versatile, the pair would be equally at home beside a bed or positioned as end tables in a sophisticated living room.
This pair is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition.
