Vintage Laminated Wood Figural Bookends by Robert Hargrave, Circa 1970s-80s. This figural pair is composed of layers of carved and laminated plywood. Robert Hargrave is a wood sculptor who specializes in working with laminated plywood. Sculpted in-the-round, showing off the beauty of the various layers and natural wood grain. Signed with a heat stamp on the base of each “R. Hargrave”. Perfect for use as sculpture or bookends as designed.
