It Measures … Read more This is a Great Looking & Unusually Large Size Authentic Antique American Schoolhouse Bell. Circa Late 19th Century. It Measures Overall Approx. 11 inches Tall x 6 1/4 inches Wide - Long at Base. The Bell itself is Very Heavily Cast in Solid Brass and the Original Lathe Turned Wood Handle is Black Lacquer Painted. The Bell is Quite Heavy Weighing Approx 2 3/4 Pounds. The Ringtone is Extremely Loud!. It is in Excellent All Original Condition and it Displays Beautifully. The Brass Bell has Developed a Very Nice Natural Aged Color & Patina but it Would Polish Up Beautifully is Desired. It Would Make Great Decorator Item as well a Conversation Piece.
