NOTE that it has 2 Unusual Added Features, a Rotating Hanger Ring on the Top of the Carry Handle and a Split Opening on One Side of the Handle where it is Mounted to the Brass Pot.

This Hearth Style Cooking Pot was Designed to be Used in a Fireplace and Would have Been Used - Suspended Above the Fire by a Early Style Fireplace "Crane" Hanger. It is Completely Hand Made. The Pot is Made Out of Thick & Heavy Solid Brass. The Handle is Also Substantially Made Out of Hand Wrought Iron and it is Fastened To the Pot with Oversize Copper Rivets. it is QUITE HEAVY Weighing Approx 5 3/4 Pounds!. It is in Excellent All Original Condition - No Damage or Repairs. The Brass is Tarnished ad it has Surface Oxidation - Verdigris in the Interior Bottom Area - Basin.

IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON POLISHING ? - I Would Strongly Recommend That You Only Include the Brass and Copper Rivets. The Wrought Iron Handle would have Never Been Polished even When it was Made.
