The Bucket Itself Measures Overall Approx 12 1/4 inches Tall at Top Rim.
15 1/2 inches Long Including Handle Brackets.
13 3/4 inches Wide.
It Measures Overall With the Handle in the Upright - Carry Position 19 inches Tall.

At the Top Front Rim Area its Bears the Initials C P H and The Date 1849. This Marking Could Possibly be the Maker of the Bucket ? - The Owners ? or Possibly Even Both ? It is Completely Hand Made - Hand Wrought Out of Very Thick & Heavy Gauge Solid Copper with Multiple Piece Construction along with Many Exposed Copper Rivet Fasteners. The Swing Type Carry Handle "Bail" Appears to be Solid Brass. It is Quite Heavy with a Substantial Weight of Approx 10 1/4 Pounds!.

I Recently Purchased this Bucket in the Southern New Hampshire Region. It is in Very Nice All Original Condition. NOTE That it Shows a Lot of High Point Wear on Bottom Rivets Confirming - Reflecting Many Years of Actual Use - This Can be Seen in One of My Photograph in This Listing. It is Somewhat Tarnished.

This Would Make a Great Fire Wood & Kindling Bucket on a Fireplace Hearth an well as a Unique Decoration for Many Other Settings!.

NOTE That on One Side there is a Small Wedge of Wood Between the Handle Bracket Hoop and Bail - Handle Hoop. This can be Pushed Tightly as to Hold the Handle in the Upright Carry Position Adding to its Display Options - This Can Also be Seen in One of My Listing Photographs.
