❧ CONDITION NOTES
The tray is structurally sound with its original finish intact. The satin black phenolic resin surface shows minor surface marks and light scratching consistent with decades of careful use. The hand-inlaid fish design in wood and metal is complete, secure, and fully intact. The original Couroc® signature and label are present.
All eight rocks glasses are chip-free and crack-free. The heavy glass bases and rims are solid and even. The gold fish decoration on the glasses shows light surface wear — subtle dulling in areas from use rather than significant gold loss. There are no bare patches or missing gold elements. All eight glasses display evenly.

✴ STYLE IT LIKE A DESIGNER
This is California, 1960. The supper club is open. The bar cart is set.
Couroc of Monterey was making some of the most collectible barware in America during the Supper Club era — satin black phenolic resin trays with hand-inlaid natural materials, paired with heavy gold-decorated glassware that caught candlelight from across the room. This fish set is a classic of that tradition.
Style this on a mid-century bar cart with a vintage ice bucket and a decanter. Display it on open kitchen shelving as an Everyday Exhibit — the kind of curated vintage display that reads as intentional, not inherited. Bring it out for entertaining and watch it become the conversation at the table.
This is Found Luxury — the real thing, not a reproduction, not a set pulled from a big-box store. A piece with a story, from a maker that mattered. Couroc of Monterey operated from 1948 to 1998, and original signed sets like this are getting harder to find complete.
Eight glasses and a matching tray. Signed. Original label. Gone when it's gone.
