A British officer's campaign trunk from the 1830s in mahogany, built for maritime service with brass strap reinforcements and an unusually thick, reinforced lid. The face of the trunk carries a brass plate above the lock, engraved with the name "Ch. O. Breuster." Original cast brass bail side handles remain, and the lift top retains its original steel lock, though the key is missing.
