A Nice Antique Blown Glass Storage Container with Tin Lid, Circa 1850
Likely produced in the glasshouses of the eastern United States — Pittsburgh or Ohio region — circa 1840-1860. Hand-blown glass with an iron pontil mark to the base, retaining its original fitted tin lid.
Dimensions: 6½"H x 4¾" across
Condition: Paint and surface wear/loss to the lid. No chips or cracks to the glass.
