A striking mid-20th-century Chinese Chinoiserie accent or tea table. Standing at a highly versatile and functional height of 28.5 inches, this decorative piece features an integrated, inset tray-style top finished in a vibrant, glossy cinnabar-red lacquer. The surface is beautifully hand-painted with delicate gilt (golden) bamboo stalks and a flock of flying birds, framed by an ornamental gold-patterned border.
