Manufactured by Elijah Cotton Ltd. at the historic Nelson Pottery in Staffordshire, England, this piece features the highly collectible "Rose Time" pattern, which was first introduced in 1931.The jug is decorated with a vibrant, dense transfer ware pattern showing multi-colored pink, yellow, and blue roses alongside delicate forget-me-nots, all set against a soft yellow ground. It features a beautifully sculpted pouring spout, an elegant curved handle, and is finished with hand-painted gold trim highlighting the rim and handle.The base bears the authentic, circular stamped maker's mark: "Lord Nelson Ware - Made in England" alongside stamped initials ("CM", "ME"), dating this piece from the late 1930s to the 1950s.
