Original … Read more Lo Mismo en otras partes is an original artwork realizedb by the great Spanish artist Francisco Goya in 1810. Original Etching on paper. The artwork belongs to the famous series ''Los Desastres de la Guerra'' realized during the years of the Independence Spanish War and published for the first time in 1863 and representing the horrors and the despair of the War. Titled on the lower central margin ''Lo Mismo en otras partes'' (Tha same thing elsewhere). Numbered on the upper left corner. Plate N.23. Very good conditions. There are two different variations between the preparatory design and the etching: the composition is in a cave, as happens in some paintings of this period and a guerrilla appears here dead, on his back on left, which intensifies the pathetic effect of death. This artwork is shipped from Italy. Under existing legislation, any artwork in Italy created over 70 years ago by an artist who has died requires a licence for export regardless of the work’s market price.
