Constructed from solid oak, the chair features broad plank arms, sturdy post-and-rail construction, and gracefully arched rockers characteristic of the American Mission movement.

A partial original Oregon Chair Co. paper label remains beneath the seat, documenting the maker. The oak frame has developed a rich, warm patina over more than a century, and the chair has been professionally reupholstered in a classic blue-and-neutral plaid fabric.

Its generous proportions and gentle rocking motion make it an inviting reading chair, nursery rocker, or statement piece for a living room or library.
