The lid features a hand-painted deer, rabbits, birds, and stylized florals rendered in the region's signature rayado (scratched) technique, where fine lines are etched through the lacquer to reveal layered color beneath. Rich forest green tones with warm ochre and blue undertones throughout. A genuine piece of Mexican folk art, combining natural pigments and generations-old craftsmanship.

Unfinished interior typical of traditional Olinalá construction, with the lacquer and hand-painted rayado work reserved for the exterior surfaces. See less
