The square mahogany top is framed by a clean, tailored apron and distinguished by carved rosette corner blocks at the tops of the legs. These symmetrical floral motifs are characteristic of Neoclassical furniture, where decorative rosettes were used to emphasize the transition between the apron and leg while adding restrained architectural ornamentation.

The table stands on four slender, square tapered legs with vertical fluting, a classical detail inspired by Greco-Roman architectural columns. An elegant X-form stretcher joins the legs, providing stability while preserving the table’s graceful, lightweight appearance.

A particularly interesting construction detail is the use of traditional slotted, countersunk flathead wood screws.
