Based on the famos type by mücke–melder, produced under licence and derived from thonet’s fn 21 model. The design follows marcel breuer’s original concept, the rights to which were later acquired by anton lorenz following a patent dispute. This successful tubular-steel furniture type remained in production for an extended period, including the 1940s.

the armchair features a characteristic bent chrome-plated tubular steel frame complemented by stained beechwood armrests. The original chrome-plated structure has been preserved, the wooden armrests professionally repaired, and the chair completely reupholstered in a muted burgundy fabric with contrasting piping.
