We are selling this great 19th century French Lithograph print “En Chemin de Fer” by Honore Daumier. This print features a woman animatedly restraining a man from the window of a train, it is initialed H D in the print and numbered 143. We believe this may be an original 19th century lithograph but have not removed it from the framing. Label on verso gives provenance to purchase on Rue Napoleon in Pairs in 1948, the label also includes all the text that is on the original lithography.
Condition: Good condition with some browning to the paper.
