Decorate your home with this ravishing rug hand-knotted and designed with great attention to detail by skilled artisans in a unique Hereke design, using the finest quality wool and silk in a rich, luxurious color palette making it a perfect centerpiece to amplify the grandeur of your home decor. Hereke rugs are known for the most intricate elegant rugs of the later nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Inspired by the court carpets of Ottoman Turkey, Hereke rugs feature more curvilinear and Persian influenced patterns than other Turkish carpets. Skillfully knotted in symmetric Ghiordes knot, also known as double-knot configuration, this construction technique produces highly durable rugs with well-defined patterns designed to embody the level of imperial elegance.
