This is a gorgeous antique American Gothic Revival church pew dating to approximately 1890–1920. Crafted from solid oak, it features a broad plank seat and back, paneled pedestal ends with pointed Gothic arches, carved foliate scrollwork, and gracefully rolled arm terminals.
The rich dark finish displays attractive age-related wear and color variation consistent with authentic institutional use. An impressive architectural bench for a large entryway, dining space, chapel, commercial interior, or historic home. Brackets underneath.
Good antique condition with expected finish wear, scratches, and minor imperfections from age and use.
