The round top and … Read more Elegant vintage two-tier pedestal or occasional table combining ornate brass-tone metalwork with unusual mosaic stone surfaces. The round top and lower tier are composed of irregular pieces of cream, blush, rose and warm beige stone, including onyx, arranged in an abstract mosaic and set within a polished resin matrix.

The slender three-legged frame features scrolling foliate and shell-inspired ornamentation, giving the table a distinctly Continental, Hollywood Regency character. At 30 inches high with a compact 15-inch diameter, it is particularly well suited as a drinks table, plant stand, pedestal table or accent table beside a chair.

The combination of richly colored natural stone fragments and decorative metalwork gives the piece considerably more visual interest than a conventional marble-top occasional table.

Condition: Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. Some tarnishing, discoloration and surface wear are present to the metal frame, with minor scratches and wear to the stone/resin surfaces consistent with age and use. Please review photographs closely for condition.
