A beautiful vintage colonial-style wooden side chair crafted by the renowned S. Bent & Bros. of Gardner, Massachusetts. This piece features a classic "Hitchcock Style" design, characterized by its elegant ebonized black lacquer finish, hand-painted gold pinstripe accents, and a detailed metallic gold fruit basket stencil across the backrest slat. Built with traditional solid hardwood construction, the chair features iconic turned spindles and legs that showcase exceptional American craftsmanship.It bears the authentic maker's mark stamped on the underside of the seat, confirming its provenance.
