This is a handsome pair of vintage brass nautical anchor bookends, each featuring a dimensional ship’s anchor entwined with a sculpted rope. The anchors have wonderful traditional maritime detailing, including crossbars, pointed flukes and looped tops.
Each anchor is mounted on a substantial dark brown sculpted base with brass-toned trim, giving the pair a rich, masculine look. The brass has developed attractive age-related patina and surface wear, adding to their vintage character.
