This is a lovely pair of vintage Italian Florentine-style giltwood wall shelves/brackets, richly decorated with dimensional carved floral bouquets. Each features a prominent sculpted rose surrounded by smaller blossoms, buds, and foliage beneath a shaped upper shelf with a subtle basket-weave or lattice pattern.
The warm gold finish has attractive age-related wear and variation, giving the pair wonderful depth and old-world character. Their ornate floral design has a distinctly Italian Baroque/Rococo influence, while the small shelf tops make them perfect for displaying petite objets, porcelain, or other decorative treasures.
