Vintage Thomasville Camille Collection chest-on-chest featuring classic Country French styling and an exceptionally warm, beautifully aged wood finish.
The two-part case features six generous drawers with molded and shaped drawer fronts, ornate brass foliate bail pulls and decorative keyhole escutcheons. Graceful cabriole legs, a carved serpentine apron and substantial molded casework give the chest its distinctive French Provincial character.
The original finish has developed wonderful depth and patina, particularly across the drawer fronts, while retaining the polished, layered appearance that makes the Camille collection so appealing today. Its combination of warm wood, aged brass and traditional French detailing works especially well in Ralph Lauren Country Manor, English Country and collected traditional interiors.
A particularly useful size, offering substantial storage while occupying considerably less wall space than a long dresser.
