Handcrafted from solid pine, the bench features a long, narrow single-plank seat with pronounced natural grain, knots, irregularities, and a beautifully developed warm brown patina. The seat rests above a substantial straight apron supported by two wide plank legs, each shaped with a simple arched cutout at the base. Visible joinery and the irregular character of the timber emphasize its rustic vernacular construction. Professionally and structurally revised to ensure the bench is solid and stable, the pine has been carefully cleaned and polished with wax while preserving its authentic aged surface and character. Measuring 65.25" wide and only 9.75" deep, the bench has particularly slender proportions while retaining a strong architectural presence.
