Produced by William Kent (Porcelain) Ltd. in Burslem, England during the 1940s, this molded earthenware figure depicts an alert black-and-white spotted feline complete with a hand-painted gold bow collar. The cat sits regally upon a classic pink tasseled cushion with a bright green base line. This miniature model perfectly encapsulates early 20th-century pottery practices meant to replicate larger 19th-century chimney ornaments. I love the facial expression on this cat's face. See less
