The chair has a striking, sculptural form, with the seat and backrest creating a single continuous shell with characteristically curved sides. The front is upholstered with horizontal channel stitching, while the back is smooth with a central seam.

Upholstered in black genuine leather. The five-star chrome base provides full 360° rotation, with the swivel mechanism operating smoothly and quietly.

Condition: Original, unrestored vintage condition. The leather has developed a beautiful natural patina, with visible wear along the edges of the seat and front bolster, as well as some individual surface cracks. All imperfections are clearly shown in the photos.

The chrome is in good condition and free from corrosion. The construction is stable and the swivel mechanism works properly. No unpleasant odours.

The chair is ready to use as is, with the aged leather being an important part of its vintage character. Alternatively, it would make an excellent base for professional reupholstery.

Its low profile makes it particularly suitable as a lounge chair next to a low coffee table, in a living room, office, hotel, café or photography studio. See less
