The model demonstrates the Earth’s orbit around the Sun and the changing seasons. The illuminated sphere represents the Sun, while the rotating globe represents the Earth. The base features a detailed scale showing months, seasons and zodiac signs in German. The entire mechanism is operated manually using a crank.

More than just an educational instrument, this is also a fascinating scientific and decorative object, ideal for a study, library, workshop or an industrial- or vintage-inspired interior.
