Richly decorated with brass inlays and reddish-stained veneer, beneath the column-supported shelf are two drawers with tenon knobs. Below these is a fold-down writing surface inlaid in wine red, and below that, a large drawer with brass inlays. The cabinet rests on fluted cross bracing with an elegant amphora. Expertly ebonized and completely restored, the pictures speak for themselves. See less
