An exquisite 7-piece vintage table centerpiece featuring a classic Italian glazed ceramic pedestal compote bowl filled with six substantial handblown art glass fruits.
The Ceramic Compote Bowl:
Made in Italy, this 7-inch tall footed bowl features a soft creamy-white glaze, a scalloped rim, and intricate molded rope motifs. The 5-inch underside retains its original red "R 205 Made in Italy" mark.
The Handblown Art Glass Fruit Collection:
Arranged inside the 8-inch bowl opening are six heavy, handblown glass fruits: a yellow banana, a vibrant red apple, a bright yellow citrus, a large mango, and a pear featuring suspended avventurina metallic copper inclusions inside the glass. Each piece displays authentic artisanal features, including thick cased-glass construction, hand-formed green leaf stems, and ground, polished pontil bases.
