Very unique original signed mixed media Trampe art wall sculpture from 1907. The sign over the door reads in Spanish 'Taller de Juguetes' which translates to 'Toy Workshop.' Along the bottom it reads 'Fabricante de suchos diminutos y alegrias primeras' which translates to 'Maker of tiny hoops and early joys.' It is also signed and dated 'Santiago 1907.' The wall sculpture is constructed of small red bricks with mortar, wood and metal details in a wood box frame. It comes with a newer wood shelf on which the piece sits for display. It resembles more of a jail than a toy shop which adds to its quirky charm. A wonderful conversation piece for your art collection.
Overall dimensions with shelf are 15" wide x 4" deep x 15" high.
Art alone 13-1/2" wide x 3-1/2" deep x 12" high.
Shelf alone is 15" wide x 4" deep x 3" high.
