Artisan-crafted in France, the chandelier has an elegant architectural presence and an impressive 18-light configuration, making it particularly suitable for grand interiors and rooms with higher ceilings.
The solid bronze structure follows the balanced symmetry associated with Louis XVI design. Gracefully scrolling arms radiate from the central stem, while finely modelled floral bobeches, classical ornamentation and decorative bronze details give the chandelier depth without overwhelming its elegant proportions.
One of the most attractive features is the original antique-gold finish. The bronze has been carefully cleaned while preserving its historic surface; it has not been stripped or re-gilded. Natural variations and a softly aged patina emphasize the depth of the casting and give the chandelier an authentic vintage character.
Throughout the chandelier are numerous clear crystal ornaments, including faceted drops, elongated obelisk-shaped prisms and distinctive pine-shaped pendants. These crystals catch and reflect the surrounding light beautifully, creating an impressive sparkle when the chandelier is illuminated.
