Artisan-crafted from solid beechwood, the chairs feature their original antique-white lacquered finish with gold-leaf accents, beautifully complemented by newly upholstered turquoise damask.
The tall, commanding backs and generous proportions give the chairs an impressive throne-like presence, while the carved frame displays the symmetry and decorative refinement associated with the Louis XVI style. Gold-leaf details highlight the carved ornamentation and provide an elegant contrast against the soft antique-white lacquer.
Importantly, the finish on the wooden frames is original and has not been newly refinished. Natural variations, light rubbing and minor signs of age remain visible, preserving the authentic vintage character of the pair.
