Stunning pair of CM7 lounge armchairs by Brazillian designer Carlos Motta. These chairs are one of his best known early designs, originally introduced in 1985 and still produced by Atelier Carlos Motta. The design uses a substantial wood frame, broad arms, a distinctive wooden panel back and upholstered cushion seat. the CM7 received an award at III Uniforma Decorative Art Salon in 1986 and was later exhibited internationally.
The chairs are in overall great condition. There are two small surface scratches please see the last two photos. The chairs have a makers mark on the frame.
