Artisan-crafted in France from solid beechwood, the tables were sourced from a private château estate in Nice, France, giving the pair an especially attractive provenance.
Each nightstand displays the balanced proportions and restrained classical decoration associated with the Louis XVI style. Fluted legs, carved rosettes, moulded drawer fronts and delicate architectural details create an elegant neoclassical silhouette.
The pair was professionally restored in France several years ago and refinished in a soft mint-green tone with antique-white highlights. The contrasting details emphasize the carved decoration while a subtle patina preserves the character of the original early 20th-century furniture.

Each nightstand has two functional drawers, providing practical bedside storage. Traditional dovetail construction and solid beechwood construction contribute to their strength and durability. Bronze or brass-toned drawer pulls complement the softly painted finish.
