Adhering strictly to the structural honesty and clean, straight lines of the Craftsman movement, the desk features a rectilinear frame supported by thick, square legs. The lower side panels are uniquely engineered with integrated book wells, each featuring an open, vertical multi-slat configuration designed to hold reference materials or books. A thick lower horizontal stretcher shelf connects the two side structures, acting as both a sturdy footrest and an additional structural stabilizer. The desk is finished on all sides allowing for use in the middle of any room or library.
