A wonderfully distinctive original period poster created after a design by celebrated Burgundian writer and artist Henri Vincenot for the 37th Saint-Vincent Tournante, held in Pommard, Burgundy, in January 1981.

Deeply associated with the culture and traditions of Burgundy, Vincenot offers a highly personal interpretation of Saint Vincent, the patron saint of winegrowers.

At the center of the composition, the saint appears in a flowing robe of deep blue and turquoise, holding a cluster of grapes above a wine cup. Stylized grapevines, leaves, and fruit surround the figure against a luminous yellow and ochre ground.

The freely drawn lettering, inspired by medieval manuscripts, combines beautifully with the bold palette and unconventional figure, creating an image that feels at once traditional, folkloric, and unmistakably modern.

More than a simple event poster, the piece is an evocative document of **Burgundy wine culture**, bringing together Henri Vincenot, the historic wine village of Pommard, and one of Burgundy's most celebrated winegrowers' traditions.
