A small circular platform at the base of the pedestal adds architectural detail to the sculptural silhouette.

The table appears to be walnut or a similarly toned hardwood and retains a rich, dark brown finish with attractive variation in the grain. The underside reveals traditional wood construction, slotted screws, and substantial solid-wood components.

The combination of the serpentine top, turned pedestal, and scrolling supports gives the piece a strong late-Victorian/Renaissance Revival character. Its compact proportions make it particularly well suited as an accent table, occasional table, drinks table, or sculptural bedside table.
