Sculptural … Read more A richly decorative vintage six-light chandelier featuring an elaborately hand-carved wood central column adorned with stacked fruit and foliage. Sculptural clusters of pomegranates, grapes, pears, figs, artichokes, and leafy forms are rendered in a beautifully aged polychrome palette of muted green, ochre, red, brown, and cream.

Six sweeping dark iron scroll arms extend from the carved center, each accented with cut-metal foliage and supporting a turned wood candle cup with a cream-colored pleated shade. The combination of carved wood, painted fruit, scrolling ironwork, and softly timeworn color gives the chandelier a dramatic Old World presence particularly suited to Italianate, Spanish Revival, Tuscan, French Country, Mediterranean, or maximalist interiors.

The chandelier reflects elements of both Italian and Spanish decorative traditions, combining sculptural fruit carving, richly aged polychrome finishes, and graceful ironwork in a sophisticated Mediterranean-inspired design.

The chandelier displays an intentionally rustic, aged appearance. The polychrome surface has extensive fading, paint loss, rubbing, abrasions, and areas of exposed wood. The iron arms and foliate details show oxidation, discoloration, and finish wear. The included pleated shades have some discoloration, edge wear, and other age-related imperfections. Please examine all photographs closely, as they form an important part of the condition description.

The electrical components and wiring have not been independently tested and should be inspected by a qualified electrician before installation. Professional installation is recommended. Chain, ceiling canopy, and six pleated shades are included as pictured.
