Vintage Fenton White Milk Glass Owl Decision Maker Fortune Spinner Ring Holder.

Add a touch of vintage charm to your home decor with this beautiful and functional classic Fenton white milk glass Wise Owl. This is the highly collectible novelty decision maker version where the owl sits on a base marked with choices. The exact phrases printed on this particular version of the paper band are: YES NO WHOO KNOWS LET GEORGE DECIDE (sometimes printed as "Let George Do It", which was a playful nod to Fenton company president George Fenton!) TILT (a fun pinball reference meaning you have to spin the head again)
The Secret History of the Tapes: Fenton actually included a couple of different variations of the paper strips in the original packaging so owners could choose their favorite. One strip was plain and direct (YES, NO, STAY, GO), while this option is the iconic, humorous "Fortune Spinner" version. Spin the owl and let his beak point you toward your answer. Crafted with the exceptional quality Fenton Art Glass is famous for, this iconic piece features striking textured details and a timeless crisp white finish.
If you take the swivel head off, you should see a central glass post meant to hold rings, surrounded by three small divided compartments in the base to store earrings or tiny trinkets.
What makes it so special is that the original tape is still present, making it a highly desirable addition for serious collectors. The glass owl is in excellent condition: a beautifully preserved vintage item with no chips or cracks. Please see all photos for details. The tape is faded in some places, to be expected, and some of the letters are very faint.
These were manufactured between 1969 and 1972, making them extremely limited in production.
