This is a good, heavy-quality Victorian tram bench made by G.M. Hammer, London with a pivoting backrest allowing the seating direction to be easily reversed as required, the gothic-arched cast iron ends are joined by 1” thick solid pitch pine planks forming both the seat and backrest. The benches are both in excellent condition and have been cleaned and polished; if you don’t have a tram of your own, they will make excellent benches for your home.
