Their architectural form, exposed joinery and distinctive open-grid weaving reflect the understated character of French rustic modernism. Associated with furniture produced by Vibo Vesoul during the 1950s. No maker label has been confirmed so the attribution remains stated as attributed to.

Condition:
Good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Structurally sound with woven seats in excellent solid condition. Some fraying as expected. There is some play in the joints of one chair so there is movement but still stable. Minor surface scuffs, light rubbing and natural grain separation to the oak. Hand-woven abaca remains strong overall with light natural fraying in places. Please review all photographs carefully as they form part of the condition report.
